KHEOPS technologiespresents JMap 4.0
Montreal, September 30th 2009 - The Montreal-based company KHEOPS technologies presented todaythe fourth generation of JMap -its flagship product solution to improve communication and operations bycreating a georeferenced HUB with secured access to the organisation's dataintelligence and business applications.
JMap 4.0 provides significant changes on many levels. Enhanced collaborationand editing tools offer all the required flexibility for communication and decision-making.Everyone who had a sneak-preview agrees - this fourth generation of JMap will bring manynew benefits to users and partners alike such as improved assets management andoverall security.
With this newgeneration of product, KHEOPS isproud to confirm its membership and contribution to the Open Source community byincluding a JMap AJAXclient based on Open Layers technologies. KHEOPS also reasserts its commitment to interoperability by adding new OGC (OpenGeospatial Consortium) connectors (WMS, GML, WFS) and industry-standard databaseformats (PostGIS, MySQL Spatial, Oracle locator...) to the solution.

The officiallaunching of JMap 4.0 will take at the 5th JMap User Conference thatwill be held on October 20, 2009, in the tower of Montreal'sOlympic stadium. Users conference, ahighly-awaited event which will be held in Montreal, at the Olympic StadiumTower.
